The primary goal of the Spiral Foundation is to benefit groups of underprivileged individuals by facilitating opportunities and paths to regain one's dignity [“the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect.”]. 

Through the Spiral Foundation its beneficiaries have become positive contributors to the common good, giving back to society and their community. They no longer experience a condition of isolation and anonymity but become part of a group acquiring a sense of belonging, identity, self-esteem and pride that encourages the integration process and a sense of wellbeing. Through the Spiral Foundation its beneficiaries are able to generate an income to support themselves and their families.

 

Through the Spiral Foundation the individuals that initially where the beneficiaries of the project became the donors by helping others in even greater need. 

 

For example, in Hue, Vietnam, a group of disabled artisans have been able to help fund hundreds of heart surgeries for individuals born with congenital heart disease with funds generated by selling their handicrafts made with recycled materials. 

The same is true in Nepal where a group of Nepalese artisans living in remote areas have been able to help fund the construction of the Ilam Clinic and its medical programs. 

 

In Italy as well,  a group of African refugees arrived in Roma in search of protection and have also been able to fund medical aid for other refugees in greater need via Emergency Onlus NGO.

 

This is why Spiral means Spinning Potentials Into Resources And Love. With the Spiral Foundation Solidarity and Ecology become one. 

 

The Executive Officers, and members of the Board of Directors shall be non-salary volunteers. Staff members may be salaried.

 

The Spiral Foundation shall create, promote and/or participate in humanitarian aid projects, primarily in the sector of human resources enhancement for the benefit of individuals providing them those resources that will enhance the quality of their life.
